επιστολή : In Turkey, Plagiarising and - Who should own our ancestral civilisation?

557 years since the sacking of Constantinople by the Turks, and again we find ourselves in need to defend our Hellenic Ethnos from the de-hellenising "New Age" connivances of our new enemies (not foreign these times), but against our very own conceding political leaders and governments; scheming to lead us to yet another ethno-sacking εθνο-άλωσιν
Βyzantium (now Turkey)?

Dear Leaders and fellows of HECGr. other Lists, Thettalos, and all readers

In Turkey, Plagiarising and - Who should own our ancestral civilisation?
In recent years Hellenes are outraged by shocking attempts of several phoneys to copy and plagiarise their Hellenic products and civilisation. Thus the brand "Fetta Cheese", etc. Skopjans are hell-bent on displacing us from owning our Macedonian Hellenising legacy. In Asia Minor's Anatolia Turks pretended that our Greek-Orthodox Saint Nicholas (Bishop of Myrha Lykeias) is a Turk, and issued a post stamp for this, (even though they had slaughtered the Saint's Christian faithful successors), but only to have the Saint's stolen holy remnants (which were stolen by Italian corsairs) returned to serve as shrine for the tourists' dollars. In Britain the authorities refuse to return the marbles which were robbed from the Parthenon
Now Turks who have roughly five centuries putrid history, pretend they possess European history by plagiarising as their own, our Hellenic achievements of four or more millennia. Thus in this case, our classical ship "Cybele" is misrepresented as an ancient Turkish event, which had founded the city of Marseilles (Massalia) in the history of Europe, i.e. "celebrating that ancient Turks were the founders of that city". We expect our Hellenes and the world at large to know that Hellenic and Byzantine historical achievements can neither be copied nor plagiarised. Absolutely NOT, Asia Minor and Byzantium (its pre-Turk names) celebrates millennia-standing civilising history. Anything ancient (pre-Turk) there, is NOT Turkish but Hellenic/Christian, as per world history records
Then, who should own our ancestral legacies and history in Asia Minor?
Unlike the Hellenistically kindred nations of Europe whose accession was just their own home affair, Turkey is an allien who drastically slaughtered and still opposes/harrasses Hellenism and Christianity which, in fact, are the fundamental tenets of European and other other nations. On the contrary, Turkey needs to account to, and to settle with, the nations (indigenous Hellenes, Armenians, Assyrians, and beyond), for its centuries-long bestial enslaving and inhuman oppression over their peoples and cultures. Now how can this allien oppressor and still adversary, be allowed to participate in Europe's benefits without first RECONCILING with its long-persecuted Hellenes and other victims?
With its chauvinistic "Turkishness", Turkey is fraught of barbaric brutality and gross violations of human rights, enslaving peoples, slave markets, slave harems, kidnapped children janissars, holocaust genocides, displacements and ethnic cleansing, misappropriating and defiling faith and culture institutions, cemeteries and properties, wholesale slaughters, etc. It stands accused of slaughter and oppression even as recently: - since its inhuman pogrom on Constantinople of 6/7 September 1955, - its barbaric aggression in Cyprus (and murderous as was recently admitted by own officer, and lately confirmed by DNA testing on body remains unearthed in mass graves, according to current world news), - its harrassment of the millennia-standing Ecumenical Orthodox Church, and then - its tyranny over its Allowites, Kurds, and non-Turkic ethnicities
It needs to settle its putrid past with all the tyrannised "Ethnicities of Turkey". European governments must not compromise on these scores. In a Europised Turkey there needs to be unfettered freedom of worship and cultural expression, free observance of "Ethnicity" education, free ownership of institutions and pre-Turkish and traditional history, etc. It needs to shed its chauvinistic "Turkey for Turks only" and open up its constitution to embrace its Hellenic/Byzantine and all its other indigenous Ethnicities, where its indigenous Helleno-Europeans and its other Ethnicities get recognised Ethnicity rights, viz. freedom to honour, observe, and to cherish and exercise their ancestral civilisation, language, and worship
If Turkey wants to advance its nationhood as European the Australian experience does serve as a plausible precedent. Australia realised that the aboriginees (indigenous natives inhabitants) populations are humans who lost their lands and everything to the invading white (British, etc) people. It declared "SORRY" to these natives. Not only that, but with its famous Mabo legislation, restored native land titles to them. It gave them ethnicity rights, and citizenship, and enacted its RECONCILIATION programs
Turks on the other hand, have vanquished the Hellenic Byzantine civilisation (incidentally the founding tenets of Europe), and slaughtered the millennia-long indigenous populations, which were Europeans. To Europise itself, it should come to TERMS with its victims. I have previously posted a report concerning such terms according to our Australian Mabo legislation and Reconciliation program. At first opportunity I shall elaborate on what is required and expected in Turkey's European directions. Presently I outline some requirements as follows: - restoration of all captured, seized, or plagiarised indigenous institutions back to the ownership of their originators, - recognition of and granting "ETHNICITY rights in Turkey" and RECONCILIATION, to its indigenous populations, viz, Hellenes, Armenians, Assyrians, etc, of Turkey. It is only then that Turkey may be accessed as European nation
The world was amazed by the "Cybele" events in Marseilles. Many Turk "foolhardies" were so intimidated by the hostile events, that they would not even eat for the fear the served meal could be laced with poison
